Over the course of more than a year, this house at the corner of Nelson and Bute streets underwent a complete heritage renovation. Watch as it transforms before your eyes from ugly duckling to a fully-restored beauty!

Earlier I documented this site just as the new elevated roadway was about to be built. Now that’s done and the site is clear, ready for a new convention centre to go in. The steady clang of pile drivers was a constant background sound for weeks..
