Here’s me and three of the guys from The Broadway Chorus (Mark Rosete, Calvin Lee, and Chris Hall) singing “Who Loves You”, the old Four Seasons hit, in the Summer 2007 chorus show, “Misplaced: The Musical”!
On Wednesday, September 5, Matthew Harding – the “dancing man” of global Internet fame, and the website phenomenon wherethehellismatt.com – arrived in Vancouver on the first leg of his North American tour. (If you haven’t yet seen what Matt did to get so well known, check out his site.)
I video’d the proceedings – everything but the dance itself, since I was in it – and I put together this little presentation. See Matt’s fans, his helpers from the gum company that is sponsoring him, and the general fun and craziness that ensues when Matt shows up and starts dancing!
I was fortunate enough to attend this first-ever coffeehouse gig for local a capella group “The Marmaladies”. The harmonies were heavenly and the melodies were mellifluous! Incredible singing by this four-woman group. Check out the video! (more…)
Well, yesterday was the Walk for Rape Relief, the biggest fundraising event of the year for the women’s shelter I volunteer for – and as a fun bonus, I got to chat with a Citytv reporter for a couple of minutes as he prepared a piece on the walk for this morning’s Breakfast Television. (more…)
Lately I’ve taken to hanging out at the Zodiac Club Café on West Broadway, at least on the weekends. It’s a very cool little place, a blend of New Age and hipster bohemian, with a warm, informal and welcoming atmosphere (and nice comfy couches for kicking back in). (more…)
