Hi everyone! Sorry for the mass email but it's one of those occasions when I really need to reach out to everyone and hope someone can help

I'm seriously considering moving on from the old Rambler and getting myself into something a little (OK, a lot) newer and more practical The Rambler is facing some major work and, though I love it dearly, I may not be able to justify putting more cash into it - especially with little Max in the equation now

So if you or anyone in your own network of friends and family know of a reliable used car that is for sale, I'd love to hear about it

My only technical requirement is that it be a four-door I know that Hondas and Toyotas are generally reliable and economical but am open to anything Given my budget I would figure on something from 10 to 15 years old

But most importantly, I want something with a known history of reliable service That's the reason I'm asking all of you for a recommendation I really hate car shopping, it's stressful and you're never really sure what you're getting I feel much more comfortable asking people I know and trust

I plan to make my final decision on keeping the Rambler vs getting something else, by the end of January Knowing there is a newer and vouched-for alternative to my old wheels will certainly be a big factor in my decision

So, if you have a lead for me, let me know I'd really appreciate it!
