Singer/songwriter Dan Bern was scheduled to play the WISE Hall on March 15th. Unfortunately on March 8th Dan was involved in an accident with a snowblower that resulted in him losing the tips of his fingers of his left hand. The accident occurred in the US – this means his treatment is not covered and has to come out of pocket. Obviously Dan’s career depends on having his hands. Dan’s friends and colleagues are gathering to raise funds and to bring a great night of music. Shahab, who is about to get married, enters a business deal along with his friend in order to help his financial situation. However, he loses all his money and finds himself in financial hardship. Creditors chase him after he fails to repay the high interest loan he owes. His dad, a high school teacher, tries helping him but his fiance puts pressure on him.
