Jeni’s Picks for the week aheadDear Picks People, The picks will be on vacation until mid March (wish me luck with severe sinusitis on that plane tomorrow morning!) Here are a few suggestions to start out your week. There is also the 3 day Winter Jazz event on Granville Island (February 22-24) featuring a great line up of musicians. Jim Campilongo’s musical stylings earned him the title of “Telecaster Master” from The New Yorker and his own Campilongo Signature Telecaster from Fender Guitars in 2012. Luca Benedetti co-founded the hard-hitting country jazz outfit, Speeding West, in Vancouver. Natasha’s untimely death has shaken the entire community and we are all deeply saddened by this unbelievable tragedy. This evening of music is dedicated to her memory.
