Canadian jazz trombonist Brad Shigeta is a proud new resident of Vancouver after two decades living in New York City where he performed, toured and recorded with Clifford Jordan, Illinois Jacquet, Wynton Marsalis, and the Duke Ellington Orchestra under the direction of Mercer Ellington. The Brad Shigeta Boptet features fiery new arrangements of bebop standards of the ’40s and ’50s. If you enjoy hard swinging melodic jazz, this is the band for you!
