there! Happy Spring! Hope you're doing well. A lot of you
have been asking me why you haven't seen a
New's
Letter
from
me
lately.
There's
a simple reason for that - there hasn't been too much for
me to tell. Until now! |

| I
am so excited to announce that I have just been cast in MISS
SAIGON! This
will mark my debut show with The
Arts Club Theatre Company. I originally auditioned for
the show back in September and attended the first set of callbacks.
But I had actually given up hope on being in the show because
I didn't hear back from them... until last week! Almost out
of the
blue,
they
called
and asked me to come in and sing for them. Of course, I jumped
at the chance, and, at their request, sang for them just a few
hours after they had called. That was on a Friday. I went back
again
the
following
Wednesday to sing again, and also ended up doing a dance audition.
It was quite the test for me, as I had to really belt out a number
(that being the intention of that callback - to hear me belt!). |

And I got the good news yesterday... I've been cast as part of The
Company, and we start rehearsals May 3rd. It will be a quick
rehearsal
period,
as the
show opens May
19th, and runs to July 10th at the Stanley
Theatre. I don't have all the ticket info, but for
now, there's a $39 seat
sale for pre-booking shows between May 22 - June 5. But you have
to book your tickets by March 31! For details (and to book your

Last
month I heard from the director and one of the executive producers
from Plague City. They called to let me know
that the movie had been locked (edited!), and only a few sound
editing bits were left to do. Once that's finished, it will
be ready for airing, and then it's just a matter of scheduling
it with CTV. I'm still not sure when it will air, but you can
bet that I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything. |
