The Broadway Chorus presents: What Not To Wish!
Coming up in just a few more weeks, it’s the annual musical-comedy extravaganza from The Broadway Chorus! Once again, a wacky plot and some very funny dialogue blend with some of Broadway’s best tunes to create a memorable and laugh-filled evening of theatre. Welcome to “What Not to Wish: A Slightly Wicked Musical”!
In this year’s production, we whisk you to the storybook kingdom of Xanadu, where the monarch’s hilariously bad leadership is driving the peasants to the brink of revolution. Meanwhile, the town florist has a surprising secret identity, a lovelorn witch seeks true love and enlightenment, and a certain celebrity duo dispenses fashion tips to some aspiring princesses. And did I mention the monkeys?
“What Not To Wish” features songs from great new shows like Tony-winning Spring Awakening, the international sensation Billy Elliot, and the camp classic Xanadu itself!
Look for me as Sidney, the weaver, popping up for some key plot-development moments and providing some scene-stopping narration, as well as joining with Mary-Barbara Stigum and Cynthia Penner in the number, “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile”!
