A taste of Ukulele Night, April 15, 2014

This monthly local event brought out a capacity crowd to St. James Square. The first half of the evening, as always, consisted of a mass uke-along led by local legend, Ralph Shaw, the King of the Ukulele. After the break, those who signed up to do so serenaded the crowd with solo numbers. Seen here is a brief cross-section of most of those (apologies to the ones not included here): Ken: It Don’t Mean a Thing if it Ain’t Got That Swing Midori and Hae-lin: Cherry Blossom Ending Darryl: “Earworm” song Ed, Tom, Russ and Boaz: Baby Whadya Want Me to Do Boaz: I’m So Afraid Edwin and Olivia: Hello Dolly Shannon: By the Time it Got Dark Jenny and Alan: Brown Eyed Girl For more info, visit http://www.vcn.bc.ca/vanukes/.
