My network TV debut! (Plus a request…)
Over four months ago, I was out at Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam, acting out my small role as “Dr. Kidder” in the Discovery Fit & Health / TLC series, “Untold Stories of the ER”. And now, the inevitable moment looms when my performance will be airing on a TV near you!
US Viewers get a first look as the episode airs on Saturday, November 17 at 10pm on Discovery Fit & Health. It re-airs Sunday at 1am, Monday the 19th at 2pm, Friday the 23rd at 6pm, and Saturday, Nov. 24 at 9pm and midnight.
Its Canadian premiere doesn’t arrive until January 9, 2013 on The Learning Channel (TLC).
I’m in the middle of the three stories, entitled “Man-Child”. A patient comes in who is regressing to a childlike state and nobody can quite figure out why!
The request: for my American friends with the technical setup, it would be great if you could record the show and get it to me somehow – if that sounds possible, let’s talk!
At any rate, I’m just excited that my first-ever role on an actual network series is about to hit the airwaves. Yippee! Of course it’s also my first exposure to critique and criticism… I hope my performance comes across as reasonably competent. We’ll see. Fingers crossed! Paging Dr. Kidder…
