Thought I’d post this link to one of my all-time favourite discoveries on the web: the 365 Days Project. It’s an astonishingly rich collection of audio ephemera of all types, strange and curious old records, largely, but also old radio commercials, unidentified one-off personal recordings… all kinds of wonderful and unexpected things. As much fun as the audio is the descriptive text which summarizes each item perfectly, often with a personal anecdote of each contributor’s personal connection to the artifact in question. Be warned, if you enjoy oddball audio curiosities, you will find yourself spending a ton of time on this site.
