The madcap comedy “What’s Up, Doc?” has been a favourite of mine for years – a 70’s homage to the screwball comedies of the 40’s featuring expertly constructed comic mayhem and hilarious performances by Barbra Streisand, Ryan O’Neil, Madeline Kahn and many others. On one of my visits to San Francisco, I was compelled to seek out the original locations of these comic crimes and do a little “before and after” photo comparision. Considering it was filmed over 30 years previously, many of these places were virtually unchanged. Enjoy “What’s Up, Doc – Then and Now”!
