“Hanukkah in Chelm” at the Peretz Centre

“Hannukah in Chelm” is a brand-new musical comedy with original songs and choreography. In this fun fable, the villagers of Chelm try to get Hanukkah to last all year long instead of just eight days. Needless to say, complications and hilarity ensue. Along with the laughs, there are some big folk- and tap-dancing numbers (did you know that tap dancing was invented in Chelm?) and a very exciting “body percussion” number. It’s holiday fun for the whole mishpacha! Chelm will be performed at the Peretz Centre for Secular Jewish Culture on Sunday, November 28. Showtime is 2pm. If you’re interested in tickets, just contact me at adamabrams@shaw.ca for details, ticket prices, etc. Hope to see you there! P.S. We’re on the lookout for sponsors and advertisers to support us with an ad in the program for the Waterfront show, so if you’d be interested in getting your business’ message out to our audience, please contact me as well.
