Fiddler on the Roof

fiddler_ad_small.gifI’m thrilled to anounce that I’ve been cast (as Mendel) in the upcoming Footlight Theatre production of the Broadway classic, “Fiddler on the Roof”! Although I’ve performed with community theatre groups in musical revues, and several “on-book” productions presented by Applause! Musicals, this is a milestone for me as it’s my first actual role in a fully-staged musical theatre production. I’m pretty excited! Based on the popular “Tevye” stories of Sholom Aleichem, “Fiddler” is an all-time crowd pleaser. With memorable songs like “Tradition,” “Sunrise, Sunset,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” “Do You Love Me?” and an engaging story of old ways challenged by a new world – a story “laden with happiness and tears”– it’s a wonderful evening of theatre. Whether it’s a favourite of yours, or if you’ve never seen it… whether you’re a fan of musical theatre or not… I heartily encourage you to come out and enjoy “Fiddler on the Roof”. I’m sure you will enjoy it! Dates: November 10-26, 2006 Wednesday-Saturday with Sunday matinees Where: Shadbolt Centre for the Arts Deer Lake, Burnaby Tickets: $13-$26, all seats $5 off on Wednesday and Thursday Call (604) 205-3000 to order. Hope to see you at the show!
