Behind-the-scenes movie pics: the warehouse and The Penthouse!
Here’s the two final batches of my very best photos from the set of the short film “Wait For Rain”, which I just completed work on as a background actor. The final creation should be showing up on Bravo sometime down the road, but in the meantime here are two photosets of great pictures.

The first group was taken at the decrepit yet character-filled old warehouse we did most of the filming at, both in the somewhat dungeon-like downstairs holding area and upstairs on the bustling set.
The other photos are from the notorious Penthouse Nightclub where we shot a scene on the roof – and I was able to explore the amazing interior, plus some unique rooftop views. And at least one unexpectedly beautiful portrait opportunity presented itself.
At the Penthouse, an abandoned upstairs lounge was a dust-covered shadow of its original plush self, and had a vending machine with 8-year-old snacks still waiting to be purchased. Yikes!
In a back room I found, no, not a set of vintage pasties, but a set of storyboards and a complete script from a movie, “True Blue”, that filmed some time previously there. Interestingly, the cast included “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alumni Mark Blucas (who played “Riley” from “The Initiative”).
